How to make Cauliflower /Gobhi Manchurian…

Cauliflower/ Gobhi Manchurian is an indo-chinese appetizer. It’s a side dish and can be a compliment to any vegetarian dish. Deep fried cauliflower florets with a stir fried sos. Sharing my way of making Gobhi Manchurian with indian style at home.

Simple Gobhi Manchurian recipe as follows…

Ingredients :

For deep frying Cauliflower florets:

  • 20/25 Cauliflower florets
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbs All purpose flour
  • 1 tbs Corn flour
  • Oil for deep frying

Other Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3/4 Finely chopped Garlic
  • 2/3 Green chillies, slit
  • 6/7 chopped Spring Onion Bulb
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped in square pieces
  • 1 small Green Capsicum Chopped in square pieces
  • 1 small Red Capsicum Chopped in square pieces
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Sos
  • 1 tbsp Dark Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • Green spring onion chopped for garnishing
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. In a bowl take black pepper powder, salt, all purpose flour and corn flour.

  3. In a deep fry pan heat oil on medium flame.

  6. In a wok add oil on the high flame, add garlic and chillies. Stir for 1 minute.12287596_10207998320826699_1087058526_o

  9. Add some water in to corn flour and make a fine paste. Add it into your gravy. This will help thicken your gravy.

How to make Chilli Tofu/ Paneer….

Chili Tofu/ Paneer..☺

It is a Tangy, spicy and yummy indo-chinese dish. Deep fried tofu/Paneer and then stir fried in sos.

I made this dish for my hubby as he loves Tofu..

Recipe of Chilli Tofu/ Paneer as follows…

Ingredients :

For deep frying the Tofu/ Paneer :

  • 100 gram Tofu/ Paneer
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp All purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Corn flour
  • Oil for deep frying Tofu/ Paneer

For Gravy:

  • 2 tbsp Olive oil
  • 3/4 Finely chopped Garlic
  • 2/3 Green chillies, slit
  • 6/7 chopped Spring Onion Bulb
  • 1 medium Onion Chopped in square pieces
  • 1 medium Green Capsicum Chopped in square pieces
  • 1 medium Red Capsicum Chopped in square pieces
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbs Chilli Sos
  • 1 tbs Dark Soya Sauce
  • 1/2 tsp vinegar
  • Green spring onion for garnishing
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste

Method:

  1. In a big cloth cover tofu and put some heavy weight on it. All excess water will drain off  in the cloth. Cut in square pieces with a knife .
  2. In bowl take 1/2 tsp black pepper powder, salt, all purpose flour and cornflour. Mix well.
  3. Add Tofu/ Paneer cubes and toss them in the bowl and coat them with flour.
  4. In a deep fry pan heat oil on medium flame. Fry tofu pieces on slow flame and keep aside .
  5.  Be ready with all ingredients before you start to make the gravy.

How to make yummy and spicy Chicken Lollipops

Chicken Lollipops are yummy and easy to make.

My kids will eat it any day.

It’s a side dish and can compliment any non-vegetarian dish.

This is a recipe of making yummy deep fried Chicken Lollipops the easy way…

Ingredients :

  • 10/12 Chicken Wings
  • 1 tsp Dark Soya Sos
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Ginger Paste
  • 1 tsp Garlic Paste
  • 1/2 tsp Vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Black paper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 Cup All purpose flour
  • 2 tsp Cornflour
  • Oil for deep frying

Method:

  1. For lollipop cut chicken wings and make lollipop shape.FB_IMG_1457739021182
  2. In a big bowl marinate Chicken lollipops with dark soya sos, red chilli powder, ginger paste, garlic paste, vinegar, sugar, black paper powder and salt.2016-02-07 19.40.26
  3. Keep aside for 1 to 2 hours.2016-02-07 19.39.45
  4. After 2 hours add egg, all purpose flour and cornflour.
  5. Mix well.
  6. Now chicken lollipops are ready to fry.
  7.  In a deep frying pan heat oil on medium flame. Fry chicken lollipops on slow or medium flame till it turns golden brown in colour.
