How to make yummy and delicious Masala Milk

With yummy and delicious Masala Milk

Sharing simple recipe with you all ?

Recipe as follows :

Ingredients :

  • 1 ltr Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 8/10 Saffron stands/ Kesar
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom powder
  • Chopped nuts (Cashews, Pistachio  and Almonds)
  • Some Chironji

Method:

  1. Boil milk till it reduced half quantity.
  2. In that add crushed nuts.
  3. Let it simmer for 5 to 7 min. Stir in between.
  4. Now add sugar and mix well.
  5. Finally add cardamom powder, kesar and chironji.
  6. Let it simmer for around 5 minutes.
  7. Cool for some time then serve.2016-10-15-23-45-42

How to make Kesar Khoya Modak

I am sharing my way of making Kesar Khoya Modak .

Here is the recipe for you all

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup khoya
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup warm milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 10 to 12 saffron stands

  1. Take warm milk in a bowl. Add saffron stands and keep aside for 10 mins.
  2. Heat a heavy bottom non stick pan on slow flame.
  3. Add crumbled khoya and roast for around 2 minutes.
  4. Add sugar, cardamom powder and saffron milk.
  5. Mix it properly until there are no lumps.
  6. On a slow flame, stir continuously.
  7. Cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
  8. Now switch off the gas and let it cool completely.
  9. Now take modak mould and fill it with mixture. Press hardly and make shapes gently…

  11. To store, put it in an airtight container, and then into the refrigerator.

How to make two coloured coconut Laddus …yum

Coconut laddu’s are yummy and delicious. Its a mouth melting popular Indian sweet.

I made this to celebrate the  occasion of “Raksha Bandhan”.

Here is the recipe for you all

Ingredients :

  • 1 and 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1 cup milkmaid
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • 1/4 tsp pink food colour (Optional)
  • 2 tbsp coarse grounded almond, pistachio nuts

For Garnishing

  • 4 tbsp desiccated coconut

Method :

  1. Heat a heavy bottom non stick pan on slow flame.
  2. Add desiccated coconut, milkmaid, sugar, milk, cardamom powder and food colour. .
  3. Mix it properly without any lumps.2016-08-18 10.12.50
  4. On a slow flame, stir continuously.
  5. Add ghee and coarse grounded almonds and pistachio nuts.2016-08-18 10.13.29
  6. Cook till the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.2016-08-18 10.12.17
  7. Now switch off the gas.
  8. Devide the mix into 2 equal parts. Add food colouring in one of the part and mix well.
  9. The mixture is ready to pour on a greased rectangular or square pan.20160817_171015
  10. Run a knife to cut in to pieces as it is cooling down. take one piece on your palm and roll it to make a ball.20160817_172553
  11. Roll this ball into the desiccated coconut.20160817_172615
  12. Allow it to cool.

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup milkmaid
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk

  10. Run a knife to cut Coconut Burfi in to pieces as it is cooling down.
  11. Allow it to cool and set.

How to make Kairi Panha/ Raw Mango drink?

It is cool, refreshing and energetic drink at any time. This natural and traditional Maharashtrian drink is very easy to make. Here is a simple recipe of Kairi Panha  with only a few ingredients as follows….

Ingredients :

  • 2 raw mangoes
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • Salt taste
  • 2 cup cold water
  • Some ice cubes
  • Mint leaves for garnishing

Method:

  1. Wash Mangoes properly and and pressure cook them.
  2. After cooling down peel the skin and remove it and seed till you are left with mango pulp.
  3. In a mixer grinder add raw mango pulp, sugar, cardamom powder and salt.
  4. Add 1/2 cup water. Grind it and make fine paste.13595894_10209811264429156_1484072481_n
  5. Strain mixture with the strainer.
  6. Add water and mix well.
  7. Adjust sweetness asper the taste.
  8. Garnish with ice cubes and mint leaves.
  9. Yummy and delicious  Kairi Panha is ready.

How to make Samo Halwa /Varai cha Sheera ….

Samo Halwa / Varai Halwa is mostly made during the fasting time.

It is delicious and very easy to make. Here is the recipe of delicious Samo Halwa,  I want to share with you all…

Ingredients :

  • 1/4 cup Ghee
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk + 1 cup Water
  • Pinch of  Cardamom powder
  • 1 tbs chopped nuts like cashews and almond
  • Some Raisins

Method:

  1. Make hot milk and water, and keep aside.
  2. Heat ghee in a pan on slow flame.

  4. Its time to pour hot milk and hot water carefully as it splutters. Add more hot water if required.12887539_10208862427788833_790949728_o
  5. Mix well and let it simmer for 1-2 min.

How to make Coconut Chutney for fasting time

Coconut chutney for fasting time..

It is very quick and easy to make with few ingredients.

This can eat with any patties in fasting time. Sabudana vada (Sago patties) taste yum with this chutney.

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup Grated Coconut
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 2 tbsp rosted peanuts
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Sendha Namak /Rock salt as per taste

Method:

  1. In a mixer griander take all ingredients and make smooth paste.
  2. Add water asper requirement.
  3. Chutney  is ready to serve with any patties in fasting time. 2016-02-26-14-26-05

How to make Sabudana vada (Sago Patties)…

Sabudana vada/ Sago patties

It is mostly made during the fasting time.  It is very easy recipe if you have all the ingredients ready. I used appam patra (Appe pan) to fry Sabudana vada so that it consume less oil and become more healthy.  Here is the recipe of yummy, spicy and crispy Sabudana vada,  I want to share with you all…

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup sabudana (Tapioca pearls/ sago)
  • 1/2 cup water to soak sabudana
  • 3 boiled potates
  • 1/2 cup rosted peanuts crushed
  • 7/8 cashew nuts crushed
  • 1 tsp chilli and Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • Sendha namak/ Rock salt as per taste
  • Ghee for frying

Method :

  1. Wash and soak Sabudana for 5/6 hrs in water.
  2. In the soaked sabudana add rosted peanuts (crushed), chilli and ginger paste, cumin seeds, lemon juice and salt.2015-11-29-16-59-58
  3. Mix well.
  4. Add the boiled potatoes for binding the  mixture and make small balls. Add 1 tsp water if required.2016-02-26 14.31.42
  5. Heat appam patra on slow flame. Add few drops ghee and keep balls to fry.2016-02-26 14.29.05
  6. Cover with lid and cook for few minutes.
  7. Turn vadas after one side is done.2016-08-21 17.38.03
  8. Fry on slow frame from both the sides.
